18. Franken is not Presidential material.

Perhaps he could run for Governor, or continue using his political voice.

22. Franken is brilliant and would be a great president.

Screw Gillebrand and the rest of the backstabbers who threw him under the bus.

25. I'm curious

why you deem Al Franken as unpresidential material?

26. Because he resigned from the Senate.

I'm not sure how you run for President of the United States from there.

3. My opinion: No, just no. Especially Clinton/Kaine. Been there, done that.

And if you are saying Harris/Franken in '24, does that mean that Clinton would not run again or that there wouldn't even be a Democratic candidate elected in 2020?

7. And how is it that we elect our presidents?

Because if Clinton had won an electoral victory while losing the popular vote to Trump you wouldn't hear a peep of complaint about it here.

8. No. Trump wasn't elected; he was installed by Putin.

HRC is legit POTUS not the criminal there now.

9. Not by cheating.

My little fantasy includes the 2016 election being corrected in some as yet unknown way.

12. If you're looking for political fantasies, DU is the place to be.

But we can rest easy knowing that no Democratic candidate, from a presidential one down, has ever cheated to win any election.
That's how we can call out the Republicans.

13. point to any election with circumstances like 2016

There has never been an election in U.S. history with the perfect storm of interference, foreign and domestic, coupled with a 30 year propaganda campaign like 2016.

Blaming Hillary for the electoral loss flies in the face of all known facts.

16. "Blaming Hillary for the electoral loss flies in the face of all known facts. "

Which is why I don't, but had she bothered to campaign at least once here in Wisconsin in the general election campaign it might have helped here.

19. Tim Kaine brought a lot to the ticket.

Although he was not my first choice, it made much sense.

1. He is a very respected member of the Senate.

2. He would have been prepared to be POTUS on day one.

3. He tempered Hillary Clinton's progressive ideology, and would have been a wonderful sounding board and counsel for more moderate leaning Democrats.

Plus, Clinton is not running again. That talk needs to stop.

20. Clinton has stated that she is not seeking to run in 2020,

but if she did choose to run, she would be the front runner, again.
