Ron DeSantis meets -- and defies -- expectations in forming Florida's government

-snip-
So far his appointments have favored experienced bureaucrats from a range of political ideologies — surprising critics that expected DeSantis' embrace of President Donald Trump to translate into appointments of loyal supporters with missions to destroy the agencies they lead.

For now, two Democrats — state Rep. Jared Moskowitz and longtime public official Jim Zingale — count themselves as part of DeSantis' new administration, alongside a former Trump White House communications director and many other Republican lawmakers and insiders.

But as others have said, if thuglicans can walk and can semi-chew gum at the same time, they're seen as hitting it out of the park.

The mostly corporate media doesn't hold THEM to the same standards that they held Pres. Obama to when he was pilloried for almost anything he was seen to have done as wrong. Many said that he didn't reach out enough to thuglicans, and we know that whenever Pres. Obama reached across the isle his wrist was broken. Look at how Mitch McConnell broke his wrist with that stolen Supreme Court seat he didn't allow him to fill. Yet you continue to have turd balls like Chuck Toad telling Dems to reach out to thuglicans now that they have the congress--show some bi-partisanship. Really turd Todd?

I "guess" Dems have to continue bowing to the will of tRump and his small racist, dumb, deplorable base even though Dems took control of the Congress in Blue Wave fashion touting that we SHOULD save the Affordable Care Act (With essentials/pre-existing coverage), which has grown quite popular since even thuglicans are for it as opposed to against it when the Black Guy did it.

Anyway, good luck there in the Sunshine State with DeRacist & Felon Scott there as your representatives

Christmas is supposed to be cold. Tomorrow can be 70. The mirror image in the Fourth Of July, which absolutely must be scorching hot. Gets ya in the mood more.

I just make an exception for Christmas. It was in the low 40's today over here. I don't mind December snow either (we didn't get any in NYC, but did once in November). However, once January comes, I hate, hate, hate snow with a passion. I can't wait for Spring.

As bad as Trump is, he does know how to stir up a crowd. Pence couldn't even stir a pot of stew!

as long as they are not actively destroying the government, they are doing a good job.
