1. Being anti-cheetolini is just one of very many qualities needed. After cheetolini ...
I'd think looking for leadership from a celebrity would be the last thing we'd be considering.

some country. I don't think she is strong enough for the UN, but she would have a good presence.

13. To quote Jon Voight's fellow-actor, Robert De Niro:
“Voight is a nice guy, but he’s delusional.”
https://www.google.com/amp/s/amp.theguardian.com/film/2016/oct/10/robert-de-niro-jon-voight-donald-trump [This was before the 2016 election. De Niro went on to accurately diagnose and predict:] “The Republican party has rationalised that this guy is sane, that this guy should be president,” he said. “It’s awful, they will self-destruct.” De Niro urged Americans to vote on 8 November in order to prevent Trump from winning. “They have to vote, they must vote, it’s imperative that you vote, it’s a very serious situation,” he said. “Everybody has to be vigilant to make sure that this guy does not become president. Let’s not win by a margin, let’s make sure he’s crushed … because he represents so many horrible things.” |

7. After Unbroken she should stick to acting
Took a tremendous book and unbelievable personal story and turned them into a meh movie. Just being a famous actor does not make one qualified to do other things.

31. Franken was a cum laude poli sci major at Harvard.
He was also more-or-less mentored into politics by his buddy Paul Wellstone.
So he was fairly knowledgeable going into the job. I, too, hope he makes a comeback. He's great. |

12. Yuck
She considered voting for McCain over Obama, but said she would wait to hear about Obama's stance on refugees, then decided to back Obama. Did she think any Republican would have a better policy on refugees than Obama would? Just that she even considered voting for McCain entirely rules her out for me.

21. She isn't just an actor
She is a progressive activist who has supported many progressive causes. She has worked extensively with refugees and was a Goodwill Ambassador for the UN.
She is a smart, beautiful progressive woman with some flaws but I wouldn’t discount her out of the gate. She brings a lot to the table and just because her day job is in entertainment, doesn’t mean she isn’t worth listening to. |

I wouldn't count her out as a player if she decides to go into politics. Any Republican wanting to debate her thinking she is just some dumb Hollywood personality is in for a nasty surprise.
