She and HRC have been a team for decades, working toward the same goals from their positions in government and out, and in Hill's case as First Lady to Nancy's congresswoman. She planned to retire after Hill became president, you know, trusting Hillary to carry on. She stayed on in office to protect her biggest achievement, the ACA, from the Republicans.
