and we didn't spend a week debating whether it was or wasn't ok because the president of the United States said much worse things in public all the time.

(16,784 posts)When the ACA was passed and Joe Biden said to Obama..."It's a BIG FUCKING DEAL!" that the mic picked up, though not said loud enough for the crowd to hear. That endeared me to Joe Biden even more.

Yes, I have my share, and I am not an English maven, far from it, but I've always thought that resorting to profanity indicates poor vocabulary. And I do admire the writing abilities of many DUers.

(1,483 posts)Still, I must admit that here in WA-03 my congressperson - is highly polished and highly toxic. She never says "motherfucker" nor anything else. She refuses to meet her constituents unless they are cherry-picked salmon or crab fishermen.
She votes with Trump 100 percent of the time.
Her big issue right now is "Let's kill the sea lions".
This district should be flippable but it gets no sunlight.
I honestly can't get too exercised by the congresspeople of other districts when Jaime Beutler Herrera is what I have to bring to Show and Tell.
I look forward to a Democratic congresswoman. Carolyn Long won't say, "motherfucker" but if she did..I would be so happy I couldn't be mad.

(14,249 posts)You simply injected an irrelevant point into a thread despite having nothing meaningful to add.
But I guess it's easier to claim you want to generate a discussion than to actually do it ...
