Don't know how to choose.

Julian Castro, Kamala Harris, Elizabeth Warren, Joe Biden, Beto O'Rourke, Corey Booker, Amy Klobuchar....

I think it would be Beto, only because I don't think Castro can raise the necessary money.

Beto and Kamala.... come on down!

When GOP'ers started dropping out of the race in 2016, their support often gravitated to the ev wentual nominee, because of a lack of identity politics (except for Christian fundamentalism) in the GOP. We have the problem of each new candidate appealing strongly to a group that thinks, "Our turn!" and is liable to feel cheated by the process that eventually selects our nominee.

We have one additional wrinkle this time around, the superdelegates don't get to vote on the first ballot, and when they do on subsequent ballots, it will probably be as a bloc, fueling charges of the system being rigged against the groups identifying with losing candidates who seemed to have a shot going into the convention. And you can bet that the GOP/Russians will have plenty of gasoline to pour on the fire.

He might actually have a chance to win that seat and it would be a major blow to republicans.

A fantastic candidate like Beto couldn't win in Texas against a hated opponent in a Democratic year. It will be extremely tough for Castro to beat Cornyn in 2020, who is more popular than Cruz.

Then again, Cruz is a far better debater and campaigner than Cornyn, so it might be close.

sense it's a Presidential election and turnout is always higher which favors Democrats, and if Beto where to pull off an upset and win the nomination or is on the bottom of the ticket Castro would have additional coat tails in Texas.

All he would need to do is get out early enough to make those filing deadlines. This in fact gives him a chance to build a larger national profile before the transition.

It will be hard to choose, that is for sure.

But someone who can ignite the Latino vote, the Asian vote, the African-American vote, the Youth and Women, will get my vote. The energy and passion is there. We need to support that.

Voters are getting younger, they have dreams. At 66, I want this country and it's government to be in better shape all around for the generations coming up well after I am gone. I have my daughter (43) and 3 granddaughters aged 21, 7, and 5, to have the rights and freedoms I have and DO NOT take for granted. This country will be theirs.

He's a decent candidate but I don't see him offering anything unique. If he were a food he'd be mac and cheese, enjoyable and satisfying but hardly anything special

He strikes me as VP material, widens the states in play and has no baggage
