Malcolm Nance Says Donald Trump Is 'Neck-Deep' In Russian Treason

Counterterrorism expert Malcolm Nance tore into Donald Trump on Saturday, saying his base is “Russia, the Russian oligarchy and Vladimir Putin.”
<snip>

“I used to say that [Trump] was treason adjacent,” Nance said. “Now I say that he’s just neck-deep in treachery.”

I guess it's taking so long because of the mammoth corruption, lying, gaslighting, international cabal on the other side...?

Frustrating, since this has been obvious to me - to all here - from the beginning!!

But I definitely remember this day when the "Gang of 8" came out of the top secret briefing. Mitch McConnell and Nancy Pelosi were also there. By the way, I believe they already knew that a special prosecutor was needed, even though Dir. Comey had not been fired yet. The Gang of 8 saw enough evidence on that day to start the ball rolling.

It featured a lot of stuff that seemed outrageous at the time, but it turned out to be absolutely true.

He devotes a substantial part of one chapter to Maria Butina, all but coming right out and saying she is a Russian spy. I had never heard of her before, and I couldn't believe anyone could be so obvious in their "spy-like" actions to fly under the radar. Within two months after I read the book, wouldn't you know? She was arrested for being a Russian spy.

Lyrics
It was back in nineteen forty-two,
I was a member of a good platoon.
We were on maneuvers in-a Louisiana,
One night by the light of the moon.
The captain told us to ford a river,
That's how it all begun.
We were -- knee deep in the Big Muddy,
But the big fool said to push on.
The Sergeant said, "Sir, are you sure,
This is the best way back to the base?"
"Sergeant, go on! I forded this river
'Bout a mile above this place.
It'll be a little soggy but just keep slogging.
We'll soon be on dry ground."
We were, waist deep in the Big Muddy
And the big fool said to push on.
The Sergeant said, "Sir, with all this equipment
No man will be able to swim."
"Sergeant, don't be a Nervous Nellie, "
The Captain said to him.
"All we need is a little determination;
Men, follow me, I'll lead on."
We were, neck deep in the Big Muddy
And the big fool said to push on.
All at once, the moon clouded over,
We heard a gurgling cry.
A few seconds later, the captain's helmet
Was all that floated by.
The Sergeant said, "Turn around men!
I'm in charge from now on."
And we just made it out of the Big Muddy
With the captain dead and gone.
We stripped and dived and found his body
Stuck in the old quicksand.
I guess he didn't know that the water was deeper
Than the place he'd once before been.
Another stream had joined the Big Muddy
'Bout a half mile from where we'd gone.
We were lucky to escape from the Big Muddy
When the big fool said to push on.
Well, I'm not going to point any moral,
I'll leave that for yourself
Maybe you're still walking, you're still talking
You'd like to keep your health.
But every time I read the papers
That old feeling comes on;
We're, waist deep in the Big Muddy
And the big fool says to push on.
Waist deep in the Big Muddy
And the big fool says to push on.
Waist deep in the Big Muddy
And the big fool says to push on.
Waist deep! Neck deep! Soon even a
Tall man'll be over his head, we're
Waist deep in the Big Muddy!
And the big fool says to push on!

When he is happy and optimistic, I am happy and optimistic.

He was like a bag of cats in the rollup to the last election. He flat-out said that it was the most important election in US history, and that the republic was finished if the Republicans kept Congress. He was trying not to sound hysterical or hyperbolic, because he was absolutely dead serious. I almost had a panic attack over it.

The day after, he was elated, and I felt my blood pressure lower by about 50 points.

The dude knows his stuff, that's for damn sure. I go out of my way to hear what he has to say whenever he's on.

In my opinion, being a Russian asset unwittingly is worse. It shows how inadequate he is to be in the White House. How easy it is for our enemies to get to him. Who's next--North Korea or China?

Ignorance is no excuse and he needs to be slammed over this and removed.

Because he only has ONE moral code: is it good for him personally, or bad for him personally?

It indicates intent. That accompanied by no conscience, unbridled greed, a willingness to be ruthless, and being in a position of power so great that he is almost immune to the repercussions of any illegal acts, makes him nuclear-level dangerous.

Every action he has done, every decision made, has been to either undermine Western democracy or enrich himself as much as possible before he and his handlers can engineer this country's weakening and vulnerability.

He wants to be Putin's Western oligarch.

Think of the difference between Nixon and Trump. Nixon was a crook who chose to do evil things, but at the end of the day he wasn't going to sell our country to our enemies.

Trump is so easily manipulated, he would do anything.

He really enjoys flattery, but at the end of the day, money and control are the drivers. That's why Pelosi and Schumer have not been able to win him over with flattery.

If he is a witting participant, he will actively add his efforts to Putin's. But, either way it is disastrous for our country.

Me.

That was also put out by the Clinton campaign. The one I saw was much more basic, and less detailed and full of damning evidence. The video I saw before was probably an earlier one; this one was probably put out much closer to the election, and much more forceful in the urgency of its message: AMERICA, WAKE UP!!! Definitely, everything we needed to know to make a correct and informed voting decision was known in 2016 - and no intelligent person with their eyes open could have comfortably voted for Trump. I have always voted Democrat, and I always wound up voting for the right person, even when the other guy won. Although I usually wound up saying, "I told you so" in those elections, this "I told you so" is almost too painful to bear.
