While Trump keeps bashing NATO & reportedly contemplating US withdrawal, #Russia's state-controlled media is discussing polls asking the Russians whether they miss the the Soviet Union (66% do) and whether they would like to see it revived (50% would). Two sides of the same coin.

I think that in this case "Soviet Union" is just shorthand for "old Eastern Bloc borders."
