The shutdown is hitting me personally...

I was just notified my food stamps (WI) will be updated on January 20, not February 8th.

And I won't know until the 20th if the full amount is added.

Is there anything we can do to help? Could I paypal you some money? Do you have Amazon food delivery? Or a WalMart where we could place an order for pick up?

I don't frequent food banks since I have enough.

But how long until the shutdown hits my SSI?

Or any other government program I use?

Trump and his cronies like Turtle Boy don't give a damn.

and my other half, who is on disability. We are rural so jobs are scarce anyway. Looks like I will have to take up hunting again if this keeps up.

I understand that the January 20th update is for then until the end of February. So, 5 weeks instead of a month. is this right?
