Seeing 200,000 angry dictator supporters gathered in public squares, gives a certain context.

The Immigration Act of 1924 limited the number of immigrants allowed entry into the United States through a national origins quota. The quota provided immigration visas to two percent of the total number of people of each nationality in the United States as of the 1890 national census. It completely excluded immigrants from Asia.

this weekend we had a new generation of religious nuts shouting and harassing Native Americans
women marching for equal rights and hating Jews
and white supremacist hating Hispanics and demanding walls of separation
things have not changed
mean while we refuse to see the really big problem of climate change /global warming because it is real cold outside

republicans could sell voter suppression and divide us - reaching 50 mil/week

we let 88 universities endorse 260 limbaugh stations while he led the way - with bullshit on every other major issue including global warming denial, health care, taxes, media reform, and on and on. spinnign every major issue and event with unchallenged repeated lying

the dem party and the progressive orgs have been negligent.

If the GOP would pay $1000 for a 1 hour infomercial:
x 15 hours/day = $15,000/station/day
x 5 days = $75,000/station/week
x 52 weeks =$3.9MIL/station/year
x 1200 stations = $18MIL/DAY
x 5 days/week = $90MIL/WEEK
x 52 weeks = $4.68BIL/YEAR
FREE
paid for by national and local advertisers
and coordinated on the local level

so the dem party and progressive orgs ignore it and wait for mueller to find out limbaugh has been working for the russians since at least 2008 when manafort/putin used him to force palin on mccain, or something

on the good side, the word limbaugh and talk radio have been used by liberals more in the last few weeks than in the last 30 years

I marched then, I'll march now (from 1968 onward). Mom and Dad encouraged me.

They both fought against this crap. So did spouse's parents (both). So did a bunch of neighbors who aren't getting their checks this month due to a draft-dodging coward living in our White House.

What is he so scared of?

What do they have on him?

Unless there are those who will not let memory disappear it does over time as people pass away. Those who grew up during the Great Depression are almost all gone. The same with WW2. Humans choose not to learn when learning clashes with indoctrination.

History must be taught in school. My ex did Viet Nam; my daughter makes sure my granddaughters are being schooled and got them library card on their 2nd birthdays.

READ. You don't have to just "hit the web" to learn. Let a child explore the world of books; you'll never be disappointed.
