Have said for years the only reason conservatives honor King is because he’s dead. Had he lived another 40 years they’d view him the same way they view modern black leaders — with contempt.

I saw the clip with Bill Lee on multiple channels, but the first time I saw Reverand Barber respond was on Chris Hayes tonight. It's like it didn't even happen here.

I pretty much forgot whatever else I was doing and was glued to my TV. He is a true moral leader and a national treasure. I'd go watch him speak even though I'm not particularly religious anymore.

when the GOP took over our legislature. He'd go into deep red districts in western NC , and have the people ready to march on their GOP Congressperson's house. He's THAT good.
