I think this must have been some media photo op for them to all be lined up like that. He wasn't allowed in it.

A couple of weeks ago he was talking about how he had met with Joe Neguse. He seemed really proud of it (I mean, why shouldn't he be?). This, though, is a few levels above that meeting I think.

12. I sat next to her for a flight from SFO to DCA

right around the time of "Benghazi Benghazi Benghazi". I was astonished and so pleased. Yes, she is little, and yes, she always looks wonderful. I was very well behaved. I waited to shake her hand and have a few words with her until after we had landed and the seat belt sign had been turned off. My husband kept messaging me for the whole flight, "Get a selfie!" and I was all like "Aw no way".

Watching her watch the news was amusing. Virgin had the touchscreen video setup. She'd switch between MSNBC and CNN, with an occasional stop on CNBC. At one point, all three had commercials on, so she hovered her finger over the button for Faux for a few beats, and I could almost hear her thinking, oh dammit, do I really need this? So she did, and she stayed on that blatting for not much longer than it took her to initially touch that button. (I wanted to hug her and yell GURRL I SO GET IT)
