All he can hang his hat on now at ALL ... is claiming he had no idea that a foreign power was behind the theft of the documents. And even that isn't going to save him from the current charges, as the provenance of the documents isn't even part of them.

Which is why ... he should be seriously considering 'cooperating'. Because I guarantee you he knew DAMN WELL the Russians were behind the theft.
