May I just say that days like today...

...should forevermore be memorialized as days of feasting.

On days like today, DU shines.

5. I have no idea who...

...I have to do some traveling, so I missed a thing or two, but if it is unwelcome news I might rather just enjoy the bliss of ignorance.

14. I think he means Bernie. By the way, I'm grilling...

Bacon wrapped chicken breasts as I type. Baked potatoes, asperagas baked in olive oil and fresh green beans. My MD wouldn’t like it, but the family and I will.

It was a good day.

9. Before 7 PM!

Now I'm in to some potato chips while watching Chris Hayes, and soon Rachel and Lawrence.

It's a good night.

15. Exactly. I have been making that for years. I'm trying to figure out a healthier version.

Maybe cook the sausage and use that grease for the roux instead of oil? The secret is to brown the roux without burning it. Next time I am going to make sausage first and use that oil to make the roux with less flour. Once you add the stock it's kind of hard to tell the difference. Eh. Who knows?
