1. A massive boycott of Starbucks might change his mind

The one good thing about a rich corporatist, we can actually hurt his bottom line. Nader and Stein had their own private money that didn't come directly from the public. Not true with Howard. And if I had to guess, I'm guessing Starbucks is frequented by liberals a lot more than it is by conservatives.

2. Starbucks is crappy coffee...

and Schultz is not loved in Washington. He was right in the middle of moving the Sonics to KC.

Plus, who the hell wants another idiot CEO type in the White House? I've been on record before saying, "Businessmen make shitty presidents." Been true since the beginning. Look at the list of worst presidents, several of them were businessmen.

5. Seattleite here. I drink espresso from small roasters every day. Starbucks is not "crappy".

Folgers is crappy.

When I was a Barista in Cincy (1985-87), there were TWO places to get espresso in the entire city. People were intimidated by it. I'd never had anything but percolated coffee up to that point.

Now? I can't believe I'm defending Starbucks, but it's not crap. Starbucks brought decent coffee to Middle America, if not the world.

In closing, Schultz is going nowhere.

6. Well, I find Starbucks to be over-roasted, but it's a matter of taste...

I drink coffee (not espresso) at home. Having trained my palate on Marine Corps coffee, I'm no connoisseur.

Yeah, I drink Folgers, or other brands depending on price.

There's worse is what I'm saying.

Come to Seattle, I'll buy you a Vivace and it will blow your mind. It tastes like berries.

And I don't drink Lattes or other flavored stuff. When I visit baristas, I almost always get Americano.

Lattes are flavored with MILK, son. I don't drink those syrups either - it's for kids. "Coffee-flavored Coffee", as Dennis Leary says.

Try an Americano at Vivace next time you go to REI's Flagship. Right across the street.

10. Yes! Their coffee always tastes like burned beans to me. I prefer drinking tea these days, but

back when I still drank coffee, I would go to my local coffee house that served up a perfectly roasted, perfectly brewed cup of coffee. Straight up. Always got high test (dark roast.) Black, no sugar, no cream. And it was much cheaper than *bux.

so I can't comment on the quality, or lack thereof, of Starbucks coffee.

But, I do get these promotional cards from them that I have used for fairly-decent sandwiches and pastries.

11. The should have a one day boycott of Starbucks where we say, "no Howard no don't run"!

Because you will give the election to the orange maggot.

Personally I rarely frequent Starbucks overpriced coffee. It's cheaper to brew it myself at home or use my Kering coffee maker with refillable containers that I put my own coffee or tea.
