otherwise it would be too obvious; people would catch on.

Clearly this is speculation only, but it seems like in 2008 and '12 the vote was so lopsided that there was no way for someone to manipulate the results in the usual "battleground" states without it being clearly apparent that something wasn't right.

Has someone done a statistical analysis of the likelihood of the 2016 election, as compared with exit poll data? Or has everyone suddenly decided, even though exit polls are considered a reasonable benchmark for validating election results in other countries, that they're just not accurate for America anymore, because people don't want to admit voting Republican or something?

My impression at the time on election day in 2016, particularly with the way things suddenly started going south with the results in key states after this site got taken down, was that somebody was pulling out all the stops as far as electronic dirty tricks. So, I would not be in any way surprised to learn that the entire election was stolen, including changing vote results in a couple of key places to put him just barely over the top for the electoral college.
