Media fuming over Northam, but where's any outrage over Governors who refused to expand Medicaid?

In my state alone, over half a million people don't have health care that should do.

Never, do we hear the same kind of outrage over people dying in the wealthiest nation on the planet because their governor has rejected Medicaid expansion.

This isn't even a double standard. There is no standard. Yes, he needs to go, but when is the media going to give a damn about policy and how policy affects lives?

already. No complex solutions necessary, just get people medical care so they can, you know, not die.

So I don’t think we should wait on media to lead. I register my anger at the voting booth and encourage others to do so.

And I think Northam should resign. That insane photo denies him now.

They pick one thing to go over the edge on and leave everything else. Look at all the piling on about this picture, when we have a walking, talking racist in the WH. "Good people on both sides" when one side drove a car into a crowd and KILLED someone and I don't think there was this level of outrage. All day long. Why wasn't everyone forcing Trump to resign?
Until you hold BOTH sides EQUALLY accountable. . . GET OVER YOURSELVES!!!

That we have heard nothing about how he has been in his career regarding civil rights? We know that Trump has had many incidents documented about how racist he has been throughout his life and even his father's life. But I have heard nothing about this man. He could have been the same and working against civil rights throughout his professional life or he could have actually done some good things or been neutral. But the discussion has had none of that. All it has been is a red meat feeding frenzy, as your comment points to.
Does it occur to you how un-Christian you are? There is no redemption for you. What if he has not been a bad egg his whole career? You don't know and yet you mindlessly engage in this soap box, red meat frenzy. Just like the far right. . . all they need is something to mindlessly shout, like a wall to protect against the rapists, when facts tell those who listen that these people aren't criminals and a wall won't help. Same thing here, we don't know the facts about his life. And until I do, I won't engage in this mindless frenzy, which you and so many others have apparently bought in to.

People here keep searching for reasons not to hold this man accountable because the other side is soulless. We don't need, and should never expect, Republican permission to create standards for our party!
