Is very conservative. It's about +9 Republican. Even Bachmann can get elected there. Redistricting, however, may shift the balance a little. I seriously doubt that Bachmann will run again for that seat. There are limits.

My district, CD-4, elected Betty McCollum to the House. She's a staunch progressive.

Which state are you in? Does it have any Republican Congress members?

1. Batshit was only elected to Congress in 2006. Prior to that the scope of her embarrasment to humanity was confined to the MN Senate.

2. Her district is wildly gerrymandered to maintain a thin but fairly consistent majority of exurban snowbillies.

This district was solid Blue Progressive at one time. Major target of Gerrymandering in 1990 by the Repukes,with eye to permanent control of the state legislature for 20 years. Folks,Minny and Wisconsin where the most progressive of all the states pre 1990. RNC raised mega bucks from the Koch's,Whitney's,Hubbard's and the Country Club crowds on Tonka.

The big mega churches did all the door knocking for her,lots of Joe six-packs in this district. Low information types,guns,God and Gays,that is her wedge issues.
