tragically misguided, corrupt policies will last a very long time. The damage to our reputation as to trust of the United States by its long time allies may take a very long time to regain. I am 82 and the sickening environmental damage to our country will certainly not be repaired in my lifetime perhaps during my childrens lives.

donnie and the magats are merely a temporary blip, part of the inevitable backlash.

taking the long view, america is marching inexorably towards a pluralistic society where whites are a minority and no longer have wildly disproportionate control over government, business, and society.

nothing comes easily, nothing comes quickly, but it comes in time.

donnie and the magats are merely part of the backlash to that inevitability. they will go away and crawl back under their rocks eventually.

they are not an era themselves, they are a merely footnote in obama's era.
