What can Newt possibly be thinking?

He has completely lost perspective because of pique at Romney for the negative ads in Iowa. He talks publicly about forming a stop Romney alliance with Santorum without even discussing it with Santorum first. - Why would one talk publicly about such an alliance assuming Santorum agrees, let alone without buy in from Santorum? Win or lose against Obama, if Romney gets the Republican nomination, Newt is finished in the Republican Party. Maybe that is his plan? Form a new party with teabaggers?

I don't think he ever expected to win until he had that unexpected turn at Flavor Of The Month. Now he is ready to go back to making tons of money off his good name, but Romney trashing his good name is going to cut into the profits.

He is just going to try and take Romney down with him so that he will be a hero to every conservative that doesn't want Romney to be the nominee, then he can cash in on them.

Newt is a joke and he doesn't like that everyone knows it.

I can't wait to see the pissing contest in the debates. It's going to be ... WONDERFUL!

Romney's "clear path to the nomination" is getting more cluttered by the moment. You know it's bad when he had to call in John "Get off my goddamned lawn" McCain to help smooth his path in his "other home state," NH.

Newt got in this shit to sell books--then, he fell in love again with the sound of his own voice, and started to believe his own bullshit!

Which he'll never get.

Not even if Newt gets the nod.

So we could see what wacky ideas he might implement, and how real people would react to them.

It would be like going to Toon Town with Roger Rabbit.

Teh Newtie was just the first VICtim.

There will be more poo flung from the Republicon Surrogate Occultist Assassin Squads.

And oodles more candidate blood on the crappy shag carpet occulting the True Republicon "Family" Values.

He wants to take down Mittens at any cost because Mittens said nasty things about him (which were largely true). Remember how he shut down the government when he thought Clinton had dissed him because he had to use the back door of AF1? Newt doesn't care what the end result is as long as he gets the satisfaction of taking a big hunk of flesh out of Mittens.

Mitt might find a horse's head in his bed someday. Newt's that kind of guy.
