I would like to see at least one or two of our candidates address pay and benefits issue

cooncerning public school teachers. Maybe a national subsidy program for teachers like we have for farmers. If we can subsidize farmers for NOT growing crops, surely we can subsidize teachers for actually teaching our children. The Federal government has locality pay schedules. We should also do that for public school teachers. Maybe if we declare education a national emercency it could be donel We are currently subsidizing mega church schools whent they above all others can afford on their own to use their billions in tithes and offerings for educaitng their children.
