Check it out!
So far, I quite like her. Rachel seems to also.

I will vote for any Democrat!
As for Hillary, no one can touch her qualifications. 😁

(14,565 posts)Klobuchar is my favorite female this time but I'm not pretending she is anything close to Hillary Clinton, who was my favorite Democratic nominee of my lifetime.
But likability is extremely unfair and Hillary had it only in isolated windows of time. Many of the same voters who disliked Hillary for no reason at all in 2016 would be drawn to Amy.
BTW, if we had 60% of the vote then we wouldn't have to emphasize bipartisanship. Meanwhile we'll be life and death to hit 50% against an incumbent in 2020. That's the reality whether anyone wants to accept it or not. I'll sign up for a flat 50% of the popular vote right now and take my chances. Hillary managed 48.2%.

(3,344 posts)Klobuchar goes on endlessly about "reaching across the aisle" and "bridging the divide" blah blah blah.
That is NOT what the country needs. We need solidly liberal ideas, not the "tax incentive" ideas she likes.
She'd be a good president. But we have so many choices that I don't need to settle for someone looking to work with Republicans. Republicans act in bad faith and should NOT be worked with. They should be defeated, destroyed and broken.

(5,622 posts)I've watched Sherrod since before the 2016 theft. Had hoped Hillary would have picked him for VP.

(8,866 posts)I was also asking myself if they were too close. I still don't know enough about where everybody stands, and want to hear more from our many good candidates, but Brown is at the top of my list now. I'm listening very closely for what they all have to say about health care and taxes. Those two issues, along with electability, are likely to be my swing issues in the primaries.

(32,532 posts)she has incredible charisma on the stump/ out in the field. I liked her previous answer regarding the "tough boss" thing, which was more unapologetic. Tonight she said she can be "too tough" sometimes, which makes it seem like she's apologizing for doing something wrong.

(32,202 posts)I couldn't get home in time to see Amy on Rachel's show live tonight, but I'm Ok with that. I usually record Rachel and Lawrence and watch them the next morning. I'm glad to hear that Amy did a good job.

Don't dislike her, but I didn't see anything I liked about her stances.
I'm not a fan of any politician playing up regional friction. So I hope she cuts talking about "We need someone from the midwest."
