Rachel Maddow is totally gonna vote for Klobuchar in 2020

Rachel had Amy on tonight; she has previously had on Kamala and Elizabeth in the past few weeks. All were good interviews, of course, but while watching I sure got the perception that she likes Amy the best. Dont get me wrong, Rachel was not fawning over her or anything, but to me it was plainly obvious that she admires and respects Amy, the most. Anybody else notice this? Just wondering.

2. I do not get U.S. TV and have never met Harris

I really didn't get to meet Warren, either, just stood near her while she spoke once.

I have met both Rachel Maddow and Amy Klobuchar, and can certainly imagine why they might have clicked.

4. Rachel seemed very sold on Kamala when she interviewed her

so it might just be a function of how Rachel wants to present herself as supportive to whatever candidate she is interviewing.

5. You may speculate that, but she would never admit who she supports

7. Amy is a tougher Hillary without the 35 years of smearing by the RW.

I can get behind any one of our candidates who have alread announced and some who haven't. Democrats, without a doubt, are fielding super smart, compassionate, and tough candidates who are fearless and patriotic.

My family will be ready to work for anyone of them in the general election. Right now, we are all different about whom we would support in the primaries...except no one among us will support BS in the primary.

Wonder who BHO prefers?

8. I'd be surprised if BHO announced his preference.

If asked, he'll probably show his "poker face".

I hope to see him campaigning after the Dem convention.

And I agree with you on the Amy/Hillary point! That's a good summary.

more than any other candidate.

14. Can she compete in NC, GA, TX or FL?

That's what I'm looking for in a candidate. Flipping back PA, MI and WI while holding onto the Clinton states gets the presidency back. But it would be nice to expand upon that.

16. A bird in the hand

You have seen the worst case scenario. I personally think that Klobuchar/Booker would be the strongest ticket to win back the firewall states. Would it expand the map? I don't know. Gillum might have been a better choice, but not without the legal issues he is currently experiencing (whether they are valid is irrelevant)
.
Alternatively Brown/Abrams to expand the map.

I guess the final combination would be Harris/Brown (in either order).

I think we need balance in different directions. Male and female. White and black.

17. Don't forget old and young

Either Biden (if he runs) or Sanders could win the nomination. They would need to balance their tickets as well.

Maybe it's asking too much to significantly expand the map in 2020.

19. Biden/Abrams

and Abrams basically live in the urban centers in the firewall states (when she is not working Georgia and Florida).

I do not want Sanders at all. In fact even though I supported him in the caucus in 2016, I wish I had not done that at all.

Biden/Harris could also be a ticket, but I don't think it would be as strong. You have a lot to overcome with the bias against coasters.

Her admiration, and preference, for Amy was subtle, but definitely there.

24. Not exactly complicated

Amy Klobiuchar is the most likable candidate so no kidding the interviews are going to unfold that way with the interviewer similarly relaxed and impressed
