Reporters Without Borders looking into attack on BBC cameraman at last night's Trump rally

RSF is deeply concerned by this physical attack against a @BBC cameraman at a Trump rally. As we continue to look into what happened, we firmly denounce all physical violence against reporters for doing their jobs. This is unacceptable in the country of the First Amendment.

1. Jim Acosta tweet:

Groups like Reporters Without Borders shouldn’t have to announce they are looking into what happened at Trump rally in El Paso last night. But here we are.

3. Has anyone reported it on tv yet like MSNBC or CNN?

I won't mention faux. They'll blame the reporter

5. Maybe a better question is "Are local law enforcement looking into it?"

I don't know how Trump rallies work, as far as security. Obviously Secret Service is there, as well as hired security. I would also assume that at least some LEO's from whatever jurisdiction would be in attendance. So why was this attacker allowed to be escorted back to his seat by another red hatter? He should have been handcuffed and booked for assault.

8. Trump is ultimately responsible for this.

He is the one who has stirred up this hatred toward journalists and has encouraged violence against them. Of course it's only a matter of time before one of the troglodytes in his audience kills one of them. It amazes me why any news outlet still continues to carry water for Trump considering the danger he poses to their people in the field.
