This "thing" is bigger than we can really get our brains around.

1. Yes he did, b!! And, according to this article, rump's old pal Tom Barrack handpicked Manafort:

I haven’t seen this anywhere else...rump and manafort are old pals, I believe, so maybe they just bumped into each other and had a chat and maybe rump said hey, be my mgr?...I’d sure like to know, though, because I am some kind of NOSY!!

Also, if not for Barrack, Rick Gates wouldn’t be as useful as he’s been, since Barrack kept him around looooong after manafort was gone, hahahahaaahahaa!!

Manafort was campaign manager at the time where Vice Presidential nominees are usually picked, and usually the campaign manager is a key part of that process.

If Barrack is closer to the center of this thing than Trump is.

I'm wondering if Barrack didn't use Trump in a clandestine agenda way, way murkier and deeply involved than anything Trump could engineer on his own.
