Sadly on the very same day Trump calls a national emergency on the southern border, a gunman opens fire in a workplace in Aurora, Il. I feel awful for victims, the families and the officers, but I will put the blame on Trump. This is my own opinion. He just doesn't understand the real crisis isn't the border, but within our country.

(45,806 posts)If he gets inundated with emails OR TWEETS telling him he has the wrong emergency, MAYBE he'll at least add guns to his todo list. (I know better than to think he's ever replace his damn swall with anything!

(63,812 posts)American people need to needle his ass because he apparently doesn't acknowledge horrible events like this, just says something stupid like the person who committed the act had mental problems.
And these are Americans doing this, and not Honduran mothers and their kids.

(47,351 posts)and he undoubtedly knows that guns are, but he doesn't really care about any of that. He cares about winning, getting his way, and bringing down his enemies. He also wants to create chaos to divert attention from the investigations into his businesses, campaign, and administration.
Trump doesn't see the world the same way as we do. He sees pretty much everything in how it reflects on him or benefits him. We need to hope and pray that he doesn't literally create a crisis or emergency like start a war, so that he can benefit politically or to aid his buddy Putin.
