Just got polled by Quinnipiac!

Asked about voting in 2016, who I'd vote for if I voted today, opinion of various candidates: Trump, O'Rourke, Harris, Biden, Booker, Klobuchar, Gillibrand. They also asked how I was registered, how long I have been registered, how strong a Democrat I am, and if I consider myself liberal, etc.

The guy was really happy that I was pleased to complete the poll and cheerful about stuff. He was slightly amused when I told him I wouldn't vote for Trump if he held a gun to my head - my standard response for any Republican candidate.

1. Was it landline or cell phone polling?

2. Landline - he did ask if I had a cellphone

But I didn't get into the whole story of why no one has my cell number. I get no cell signal here at the house - or just enough that it rings but doesn't connect well enough to talk. I'm going to be old-school as far as phones for a long time!

3. Was it painfull? Had to say that. I do

an on line poll called Civics every week or so. So far I can't really tell what their agenda is.

4. No, it was quite pleasant

I get polled a good amount and I am always willing to do the polls to skew them my way. Some I got last year had a lot of push questions where they were trying to structure the questions to get you to answer the way they wanted - especially those which had an obvious slant against Andrew Gillum and for Ron DeSantis. On those I refused to answer some of the questions, they were so biased.

This poll on the other hand, was very unbiased in the questions. The pollster was pleasant and never let any bias show in his responses, even when he seemed slightly amused.

5. The NRA is great at push polls, I used to get

a lot of them until I started filling the envelope with toilet
paper.

6. I don't do mail in polls

Most of that type of stuff goes into the trash at the post office when my husband sorts the mail as he picks it up. But I tend to get a lot of calls.
