Ever since he started campaigning, you could tell that was the case with his wardrobe. No doubt his clothes are expensive. But also no doubt he buys them off the rack and never has them altered.

GQ took note of this in the general campaign, and did a very nice (and polite) makeover via Photoshop, showing exactly where each nip and tuck in the garments would flatter his extensive figure.

The Mad King is incredibly vain -- we have many indications of that, including his "slimming" necktie length and ridiculous hair. He boasts of financial resources that would allow him the best tailors of bespoke suits and shirts, not to mention the services of the finest hairdressers and makeup artists.

Instead he looks like what I said, a self-deluded old man. His "magic mirror" lies to him and shows him as the virile young stud of Queens, New York, age 30.
