Boy, the wrath of Mother Nature is taking a toll on Nebraska and Iowa!

Last edited Thu Mar 14, 2019, 10:25 PM - Edit history (1)

Last week the temperature was in the teens and some areas below zero. The past 2 and 1/2 days an blizzard has blanketed the Colorado, Wyoming and western Nebraska state of reaching into the Dakotas. East of North Platte the warm temps have saturated the ground with melting snow and ice. Major flooding across eastern Nebraska and Iowa has devastated people homes and roads are washing a way. Yet, we have a president who is more worried about the southern border than those of us who live in the flooded areas. I hope those who voted for this idiot realize that was their farm, their house, their town and among other things!

many of whom did not vote for idiot-in-chief. How about a little compassion, and laying off the "you brought it on yourselves" spiel.

When I have loved ones in harm's way, I really don't need to come to DU and hear an echo of the idiot-in-chief, who always blames/seeks political advantage first and shows compassion as an afterthought.

They say the same thing about Puerto Rico Victims and the shooting victims! So it is not a "spiel"! I just pointing out the fact that they won't hear from Trump, their savior, or get any help because he is spending the money on a fake wall! But thanks for the comment.

We scream bloody murder when, "They say the same thing about Puerto Rico Victims and the shooting victims!" We should not be saying simliar things here about victims of disasters.

I hope those who voted for this idiot realize that was their farm, their house, their town and among other things!

Sure sounds to me like, "you got what you voted for."
