Because I have not seen anything that give me a clue about what Pelosi and Schumer are doing or planning.

I am guessing that is in the works. The longer they wait the longer the big lie has to work.

...or sometime way off in the future, when us and all the players involved in this horror are long gone, the report will come out.
There will be a sort of national soul-searching wondering how we ever could have let this happen. Politicians (I know, I'm assuming the country will still be a semi-democracy) will proclaim with their usual self-righteousness that this will never happen again.

We've been asking here and elsewhere for a long time now if we're too far gone to recover even our flawed democracy.
Consider where we are this week. You have to be even more cockeyed than the storied optimist of South Pacific to believe that somehow this will all go away and we'll restore our country.
The coup owns the DOJ now, they are systematically destroying the administrative state, the media is all but useless with few exceptions - we're in very deep waters here.

A deranged, addled, fraudulent con-man is running the show and has the complete support of the R (Racist) party and at least a third of the country. Screw the report. We have to figure this out - and quick.
