Why no fightback for the healthcare of the hundreds of thousands that benefit from Special Olympics?

Trump was forced to retreat over funding cuts to the Special Olympics. Those that benefit from that program are more likely to have a greater need for healthcare. Why dIdnt Democratic lawmakers highlight that Trump is still trying to take away their healthcare?
