Veteran sportswriter Rick Reilly‘s new book Commander in Cheat: How Golf Explains Trump — which chronicles President Donald Trump‘s extensive cheating on the links — clocks in at 244 pages. Listening to Reilly spell out the extent of Trump’s cheating, though, one gets the impression there was a plethora of material left on the cutting room floor.

Appearing on CNN’s New Day Tuesday, Reilly said of Trump, “He cheats like a mafia accountant. He cheats crazy. He cheats whether you’re watching or not. He cheats whether you like it or not.”

Reilly relayed comments from caddies at Trump’s club in Bedminster, NJ — who don’t deny helping him cheat, admitting to carrying multiple balls in their pockets.

“He kicks the ball out of the rough so many times the caddies call him Pele,” Reilly said.

This golf business may be more important than it looks. He thinks the golf courses that DT owns oris trying to develop influence foriegn policy towards china, puerto rico and even muslim countries
