Can we survive 27 more months of the orange beast?

The Republican Party will protect him ever step of the way.

Another 21 more months. The orange prick can destroy us in another 21 more days.

So what do we do?

The Constitution says we can't change this horror in another 19 months. Well whoopdeedo. In less than two years we can fix what's wrong with America.

Anyone who thinks the Constitution is not a suicide pact, speak up. Let's hear the argument.

As far as I'm concerned, the enemies of America are not playing by any rules. Why should we?

It's past time to restore the rules. It's past time to restore America.

How do we do this? Use your brains. Figure it out. After all, we are the majority of the sane.

Without food while the Elite spend the tax money on frivolity. I think Marie bought the hope diamond a couple months before the revolution. It was the most expensive gem in the world at that time. People will rise up when their lives are shattered and they are hungry.

I remember coming up on the election in 2016. . . I was so relieved that we only had a short amount of time in which we had to put up with that hog. . . I am so goddamned tired of looking at his ugly mug and having to listen to those lies flying of his pie hole.

I haven't heard his voice in months, as I cannot bear it.

It is way past time to push back hard, especially in gerrymandered districts. The repigs do it EVERY time.

Impeachment, at least in the near future, ain't happening. So hitch up your britches, grit your teeth, and get busy organizing to win big time in 2020. We all of us are tired and sick to death of everything Trump and his enabling KGOP. Patience is a virtue. The 6 perfections of a boddhisattva are generosity, compassion, ethics, patience, enthusiastic perseverance, and wisdom.

So when the latest daily stupid outrage makes you feel like you are in Hell, turn the TV off. Do something peaceful and positive. We have elected a bunch of very excellent Dems to the House. The leaders are capable and knowledgeable. They are doing a great job. They got this.

I'll say it again. Patience is a virtue.

Our children/grands are going to inherit what's left of America. This country and our Constitution cannot survive another 68 months of the sustained damage being done as we sit and wait to vote in stolen elections.

that you can sucessfully sell to the majority of Americans, then yes. We have to wait. I'm not using a gun in an armed revolt, if that is what you're suggesting. And no, our Constitution can survive.

Aside from resignation or his demise, he’s not going anywhere. There were many articles prior to the release of the Mueller report warning about thinking is was going to accomplish ending Trump. I have no doubt it has damaging information. It will spawn lawsuits. These take time.

Voting, or not voting got us into this mess, and voting is the only thing that will get us out. Trump has millions of people convinced he’s doing a good, if not great job.

You are correct, Republicans are in lock down CYA mode, I never forget that what Trump does, is done with the approval of around a quarter of the entire country. Even his poll numbers aren’t bad. The economy, while facing the eventual meltdown is doing well for traders and corporations. There are jobs. Low paying jobs, but jobs

Dispite the utter repulsiveness of Trump and his entire family, he stole enough from Peter to pay Paul with his ridiculous Tax cuts, and the fall out from this wasn't immediate. It *will* happen, probably just as we get another Democrat in office to fix it again.

All the harm he’s caused, a lot of it, was precisely directed toward people without voices strong enough, despite many strong voices. He appealed to the worst of whiteness, the worst of maleness, the worst of a old colonial mindset.

We’ve damaged Trump speaking his truth, because again, his truth is repulsive . He damages himself. Yet there are millions of one issue voters—take abortion—who believe he is the literal answer to their prayers.

You want change? Encourage action. Protests are great. I live in Seattle, a city that has a lot of them. They are useful, but not always effective.

We’ve got to vote the fuckers out. We’ve got to. We’ve got to flame every scandal that comes from the Republican side. We’ve got to write letters, call offices, find our peers. If our jobs have unions join them and get involved. If our peers are Trumpies, find a way to either argue, or find a way to protect ourselves from them. Our spirits need to stay strong.

I made a very ugly stepping stone, ugly like him—(making stepping stones are one of my hobbies) —that says “Fuck Trump. It’s quite visible to those who walk by. Will it change minds? Of course not. It’s the flap of a butterfly wing.

One of the things that keep me up it night is when all is said and done and Trump is out of office, is all the fucking angsy analysis that’s going to happen about him. Not to mention his destructive legacy. UGH

Trump can't get any moronic legislation past that. In November, 2020, we have the last of the checks and balances. We'd damn well better take that opportunity. We might never have it again.

Think I'm overstating? I'm not.

If DUers can't see what has to happen, I don't know what to think about the rest of the country. We're supposed to be at least somewhat savvy about government and how it works, but it sure doesn't seem that way sometimes.

One of the reasons you are on my favorite poster list is because you posted the Green papers link, and more than once. It’s such an excellent resource for politics. I’ve used just the link elsewhere, in arguments and either got no response or thankyous.

Still, in the middle of depair people tend to want the easier answers.

We're already going to vote for Democrats. See if you can think of a place where you can help convince people who aren't DUers to vote for Democrats. Then do whatever you can to help them decide to do that.

I'd start right where you live, and stick to working there. That's where you can actually do something.

Complaining doesn't do any good at all. Nobody hears your complaints, except people who have the same complaints.

Get Out The Vote! Locally. In your Districts. In your State. That will bring change.

A Democratic candidate for President may win the popular vote, but not the Electoral College.

The Senate and the Electoral College need to be eliminated, but that would be very difficult.

How much longer will people living in the 16 most populous states in 2040 (70 percent of Americans) are going to be willing to accept this situation?
