White House spokesman calls Puerto Rico "that country" in MSNBC interview.

These bigoted assholes out themselves every goddamned day.

White House spox Hogan Gidley refers to Puerto Rico as "that country" on @HallieJackson's show. "With all we've done in that country, they have systematic mismanagement of the goods and services we've sent to them."
Gidley says later that it was "a slip of the tongue."

So, if he says he stepped on his tongue, slipped, and fell on his ass, we can't discount the possibility entirely....

It should be inconceivable that the UNITED STATES OF AMERICA would own a profound loss of its integrity in even attempting to deny its obligation to repay PUERTO RICO's debts.

Since PUERTO RICO (territory) is an owned possession of the UNITED STATES OF AMERICA, The UNITED STATES OF AMERICA is solely and ultimately responsible for the loans and debts of PUERTO RICO.

Trying to claim PUERTO RICO's debt is affected by claiming that these loans and acceptance of funds was improper changes nothing. The UNITED STATES OF AMERICA is still responsible for its actions and must repay all its debts to maintain its integrity.

The UNITED STATES OF AMERICA is responsible for all the economic regulations and actions of this territory. The UNITED STATES OF AMERICA has made all government choices for its territories and it might seem choices are now making for hard times concerning PUERTO RICO.

Is it not historical that debts owed by governments continue indefinitely as long as that government and the unpaid debt exist, even hundreds of years?

The cost of not repaying this loan is not just the waste of much resource and reputation, but is undoubtedly also reflected in the death of some of the creditors who have trusted and already lost so much.

Until the contracts made are fully satisfied in regards to repayment, these accounts may be in dispute indefinitely.

Thank you for your attention.

It really is shameful how Indigenous people were treated and continue to be treated. President Obama did more than any other president to make things right, but he was dealing with a republican Congress and could only do so much by EO.
