Wait did I just hear Nadler

say that they are sending warrants for certain people, but not that it was not going to happen tomorrow. Wait.....they have had two weeks to get this together and now it is not happening tomorrow....

Tomorrow is the authorization to do a subpoena, not the issuance of one. Although then Nadler can issue it when he wants.

The way these things work is step by step as you put pressure on the other side.

The US Attorneys firing case took 3+ years and the Fast and Furious case started 8 years ago and is still going!

The primary goal here is embarrassment of the executive branch to put political pressure on them. Because in the end it is very difficult for the Congress to enforce a subpoena, and almost impossible to do it quickly.

The House could imprison someone, but Congress hasn't done that since 1935. I'd love to see them do it though.

and straight forward answer! I keep trying to let these things roll off my back, but truly after two and a half years of this malarkey my back hurts!

If they find suspicious activity from his bank records, it makes the requrest/subpoena stronger.
