So down here at the diner, what we have been talking about for weeks is we have been talking about what everybody else across this great country of ours has been talking about, which is if Our Great President is actually a Russian agent or if he is only just a Russian stooge
And as you can probably might be able to imagine, the conversation has sometimes been getting very hot and even heated about this, because of us going around in circles with Our President's patriotic supporters saying, He is only just a stooge and not a spy, while that Our President's enemies are saying, No, he is a spy and not only just a stooge
So I was thinking hard all my deep thoughts about this, and I was even beginning to think maybe Flo was right when she said, Who cares? What difference does it make whether he is a stooge or a spy? But I am very glad I waited to make up because the report has now come out showing us that we know that he is not a Russian spy but is only a Russian stooge
This is important because it means people like Fritz O'Connell in the Senate were right not to call him a Russian spy. So there is that
Anyway, this what we have been talking about down at the diner

(14,118 posts)"stooge" and "spy" mean the same thing. Let's argue about something meaningful, like if we'd feel uncomfortable if Joe Biden touched us.

(1,186 posts)No Mueller report has been released, just the Barr report. Barr was picked by trump and to me that spells out the a 5th grader changed his flunking report card to A's.

(9,426 posts)he is not intelligent enough to be either a "spy" or a ""stooge". He heard that Vlad was the richest man in Russia, and he glommed on to him. That simple. Nothing tRump admires more than rich people. How they became rich is irrelevant. He is a stupid man, who THINKS he is smart.

(143 posts)trump's stooge, barr's extremely short summary of the report has come out and it wasn't even a summary. just a letter. we need to stop pretending like the report has been released. it is being covered up.

(1,201 posts)a Putin traitor or a Russian gov agent. Making deals to end sanctions while trying to get a multi million business going with Putin is criminal and against America's interests and no other president ever allowed a Russian agent into the oval office or gave open taps of pres phones..Trump is not our president when he does this kind of crap, he's a Russian stooge and his treason is to Russian oligarchs. not their gov. He undermines the rule of law at every turn and refuses accountability so why are you even debating the rest.

(8,812 posts)There is a lot of material being compiled about Trump & Republicans in Congress that shows ties/donors/misc money from the Saudi, Chinese, Russia, NRA etc etc etc. Look at the MILLIONs that O'Connel has take from his wife, her Chinese parents and Chinese oligarchs. A ton of money appears to have come from foreign sources to the NRA and they in turn distributed it to many Republican's campaign funds.......
Some one in a comment last week stated:
"We are seeing the most thoroughly corrupt political party in the entire history of our nation". The Republicans have absolutely NO respect what so ever for the "Rule of Law".......

(2,657 posts)Did Hitler deserve respect because he was the leader of Germany?
Did Nixon deserve respect after people found out what he did because he was still President?
Did Republicans give Barack Obama respect just because he was President?
It seems that Republicans want everyone to respect the President when the President is a Republican, and want everyone to disrespect him when he is a Democrat. My solution is from Martin Luther King Jr.:
"I have a dream that my four little children will one day live in a nation where they will not be judged by the color of their skin, but by the content of their character."
I respect Presidents according to the content of their character, not according to his or her position. I would not respect a bad King, nor would I respect a bad President.
