Daily Beast--wrong headline (what else is new?), but an amusing right-wing dilemma

( "Conservatives have no idea how to handle Mayor Pete Buttigieg" )

Conservatives? WHAT conservatives? I'm fed up with the our media communicating in Republicanese. The extremist right on Fox Noise and National Hate Radio is NOT conservative. They are not cautious, they are not risk-averse, and they are not embracing any old traditions unless you consider Senator Joseph McCarthy, R-Wisconsin to be an old established tradition.

The Republicans are probably having problems because their own propaganda can't handle a gay who was an Afghan War Vet, while the majority of them shied away from any military service at all. Complicating their problem--Buttigieg is a popular mayor--not somewhere in libbrul coastal northern California but in the heart of Indiana.

It must be tough to be a right wing propagandist wanting to bash a gay Democrat who has more military experience and academic credentials than the entire Trump cabinet. Somehow, my cup runneth NOT over with pity at their dilemma.

It's past midnight here, just got back from Köln, and I have to be up at 5 AM (I still work for a living) for work tomorrow.

My gay friends probably thought correcting me would hurt my feelings. It takes a stranger to set me straight (no pun intended!).
