Face it, we're not going to get the Mueller Report, or his damn taxes....

they will stall, decline, and will eventually end up in court and it’ll be YEARS. This is their plan, and the American Public, and I am SICK OF IT ALREADY. This is the plan, stall, delay and hope everyone will get sick of it and then all answers will come out and NO ONE WILL CARE BECAUSE IT’ll be in about 5 years!!!! And I hope I am sooooooooooooo wrong. It just doesn’t look like any of this is going to end soon enough for my liking.

I’m not convinced it’s going to be enough to initiate Impeachment in House, much less result in conviction. Ought to be, but we already know and strongly suspect enough for a Democrat to have been impeached and tortured.

He will produce a heavily redacted report that will be useless. And he will get away with it, at least for a year or two and certainly not before the election.

I’m beginning to believe Mueller might not have found as much as we had hoped, not that it wasn’t there. He just didn’t find it. Congress has known enough to throw trump out of office for over a year. The majority, just don’t care.

If Barr was really covering up, he would never have written the “does not exonerate him.” I get Barr is walking a tight rope, but apparently Mueller was too.

We’ll have a better feel next week.

I think the wheels are flat or completely off this damn wagon. The GOP has rigged it for 40 years. This is what we have to deal with due to their dirty and criminal actions for a long period of time.

I will be dead before this is ever resolved (I expect it to take more than two years from now). Oh well, if I am dead at least I will feel more peaceful than I have for the past two years (no make that 40 years) of GOP corruption and greed. So glad I don't have kids (by choice).

And that's exactly what they want. Notice the extreme increase in violent rhetoric, hostility and calls for civil war? Notice the gun nuts and doomsday preppers buying weapons and end times supplies in droves? They want a war and they will probably get it if we let them get to us.

is to demoralize us. I was extremely disappointed in how unprepared the Democratic committee was today. Barr has a temper and that can be taken advantage of. Barr has to go before a Senate committee tomorrow, I'm hopeful that the people on this committee come loaded for bear. Does anyone know if Al Franken is on this committee, oh wait, oh yeah, Al is gone.

Don't give up, I just heard Adam Schiff speak about how he is pursuing another means to get at the grand jury info. I just heard Larry Summers say that Mnuchin has no business interfering in the Democrats request for Trump's taxes. Remember, liars have to always keep their storied straight.

Like my 86 year old golfing buddy tells me, he doesn't care if anyone watches him because he doesn't cheat.

Hang in there, say a few fuchs.

If worse comes to worse, Trump needs to worry about karma, karma is a beoach.

and more importantly, what we supposedly stand for - it's been in my DNA for generations, back to the old country, when people fought and escaped dictators and czars.

I've been hearing for years, don't worry, we've got this super duper plan, a three-dimensional chess move up our sleeve. Yet, we seem to be out-witted and stymied at every turn. Hell, we let someone get away with literally faking a war where hundreds of thousands died because impeachment was too divisive and too messy. If you didn't impeach then - when would you ever.

I have to really applaud Adam Schiff and Nadler - they is certainly trying ! Oh, and U.S. Rep. Al Green of Texas who forced a Trump impeachment vote, defying Nancy Pelosi

We have zero choice now - they are eating us up.

There will be and always will be, decent, caring people that will leak that which they believe the nations needs to know. They might be vilified and attacked by this administrations and their supporters, but there will always be some people, citizens that will put nation above all else.

Somewhere, somehow - there are those that care and will leak that which needs to be known by the nation, at their own personal risk. This has happened before and will happen again, I have faith in our fellow citizens (some of them) to do the right thing for all of us.

The only thing in each of our control is to get out and vote (protesting doesn't seem to appeal to many here - I would love to do that as well, but it's hard to have a 1 person protest! After all, I can chew gum and walk at the same time! LOL)

You know, I still find it surreal that our democracy's checks and balances have failed dismally. Breaks my heart. I have hope that at some point in the future that there will be reforms, etc. to prevent this catastrophe from happening again. However, based on my view of the landscape, it's not going to happen until trump and the majority of the current self dealing, vile republicans are voted out of office. Hopefully in 2020.

he was investigating. Was his reputation a sham? Or does he actually want to get to the bottom of this whole mess. How sincere is he? Just handing everything over to Barr, it must have been obvious that the report and evidence would be taken and locked away. He more than anybody must have known that would happen; even I saw that coming a mile away. Can only hope he kept copies of everything, though I'm sure he was ordered to turn everything over to Barr. Were he and his family threatened? Wouldn't surprise me at all. The longer this drags on, the more time Barr's team has to fuck with it. Does Mueller even care? We'll likely find out sooner or later.

whether that's in 2020 or 2024, or if the Republicans manage to do away with presidential term limits and science keeps the bastard alive, who knows how long? and by the time anything comes out, which is not likely to be anything like the whole story, people will just say "huh...what an asshole" and carry on, because what are you gonna do? And then most people have extremely short attention spans anyway.

I'm not trying to be defeatist here, but I think it would be foolish to depend on the "justice system" to deal with these evil fuckers. They have corrupted all of our political institutions. Enough of the American people need to wake the fuck up and vote these assholes completely out of political existence, but far too many idiots are just going to vote Republican no matter what, and then there are a fair number of complete assholes who support Individual 1 not in spite of those qualities that we tend to find repulsive (his petty meanness, ignorance and bluster; his cruelty and racism, etc.), but because of them.

I've never believed that all the evidence and information gathered during the SCO investigation would be released--I think there are too many "national security" concerns around exposing our whole nation to be a complete fucking joke, whose whole political infrastructure was coopted by a hostile foreign power and nobody seems to be able to do any fucking thing about it. Now I doubt we'll really see much of anything at all; I think there's too much that implicates the GOP, and they will do whatever they can to suppress it.

In the end, it doesn't matter. These bastards were always going to do whatever they could to hold onto power; it's in their nature to do so. Resist. Fight them every way that we ethically can (metaphorically I mean...unless it comes down to it and everything devolves into chaos and violence, but I think we can still avoid that at this point--if we stop these fuckers from further solidifying authoritarian power, and if we get out the vote in 2020 like we have never done before). Despite how it may look, the old-conservative-white-men-in-charge-of-everything model is on its way out...all the crying Nazis and stubborn red-hatted morons in the world can't stop the inexorable demographic trends toward a more diverse society.

But yeah...I wouldn't exactly count on the "justice system" handling this current situation any better than it did the blatant war crimes of Dick Cheney.

The report is obviously being buried because of damning information in it. Democrats should continue to do what they can to get it. But this report or lack of report cannot be the focus of the 2020 campaign. We probably lose if that happens. We have to focus on making the policy case to elect as many Democrats as possible.

When the report comes up we should roll our eyes and say it's embarrassing how obvious this cover up has been. But what's more embarrassing is that Republicans want to eliminate healthcare coverage for 20 million people. That our boarders have been turned into concentrations camps. That our tax policy favors the very rich...
