that said, doing so might amount to a (further) abuse of power and/or a (further) obstruction of justice.

he can't order a particular conclusion to the investigation, though.

that said, the loyalist hacks he installs fully understand what he wants and are eager to deliver it without him having to go on record making it explicit.
