Trump on the law regarding Congress obtaining his taxes: "There is no law."

Aaron Rupar
@atrupar

Trump seems to be in denial about fact Congress has legal right to obtain his tax returns: "There is no law. As you know, I got elected last time with this same issue... While I'm under audit, I would not give my taxes... Frankly the people don't care... I have no obligation."

what year is being audited? Are his past 30 tax returns under audit, and why doesn't he release the returns for the years that are not under audit?

We have some great journalists in this country, but most of them are not equipped to deal with a dictator.

He's a minority president, plain and simple. The majority of Americans voted for someone else! If he were accurate, he would say "the Electoral College didn't care". Just like when McConnell screwed over Merrick Garland because "the people" should decide after the next election. They did, yet somehow Hillary didn't get a Supreme Court pick.
