There is NOTHING GOOD about what's happening now, and what's likely to happen before they are OUT THE DOOR, which may be quite a while.

(25,241 posts)This is the problem when you have a so-called businessman functioning in a system with rules/laws.
Instead of putting him in check each time in the last two years when he pushed beyond the limits of the law and making him follow the law - he was given permission to break the law - by people saying - this is just Trump being Trump.
Talking heads would actually make suggestions as to how he should handle situations. He didn't have to know anything about the rules/laws/norms - all he had to do was listen enough to what the talking heads were saying and let them light the way he should move.
So what did you expect? We got what we suspected all along. He wants to run the country like he runs his company. Make all the decisions. Then make excuses and find someone to blame when things go south.
Treat our allies like he would treat a business opportunity. Gravitate to those world leaders that get away with what he wants to get away with.
I don't know if there is any stopping him right now. Like someone said in this thread. He is drunk with power and grabbing for more each day he remains in office.
