In Ft.Pierce. That had to be like 20 yrs ago? Ft.Pierce has improved in some areas, in others it is worse.

This 11 y.o. thug may have, before this clip, have been 'mouthing off', or perhaps even going so far as to 'sass' ... someone in authority.

We really have no way of knowing ...

the average 11 year old just be picked up entirely and thereby immobilized by the average school cop? Where does the body-slam-necessity come into the equation?

The headline might make you think the cop simply knocked the kid down, but he did not. He picked him up entirely, and then threw him down hard onto the pavement.

Once in a while, token justice is served, but mostly those that get off scotfree truly escape without ever facing any kind of mortal consequence.

Mention the Constitution and its protections and every cop around will role his or her eyes. Charge a cop and they will literally scream about their rights.

When the Dept. has to pay and break the budget, the asshole sheriff will be back to being a rent-a-cop at the mall. We get to elect the sheriffs and the mayors that hire the chief of police.

How on earth does a grown man justify that? And how can the sheriff let it go?

It seems I ask those sort of questions far too often lately.
