From Iran-Contra during the George Bush I administration through the war crimes committed by the GW Bush administration to the criminal we now have as president -- if at each juncture we the people had demanded justice - demanded that these criminal leaders and their minions be held accountable and answer for their crimes -perhaps we wouldn't be where we are now. Instead, we have politicians who think it best to "look forward, not back" and a congress that is too chicken-shitted to stand up and start impeachment proceedings. What has that gotten us? a failing democracy, that's what.

WE do not to say we will never learn. We talk unhappily about others who fail to vote at all for good and against wrong or to vote wisely and honorably.
And we never, ever mistake the Democratic Party for the Republican Party. Thats for ignorant fools and those who hide from their own guilt by pretending there was never a good choice.
WE know who we are.
