I heard many Rs say impeachment of Clinton was because he lied. Now we have thousands of lies as well as the AG lying baldly in a cover-up attempt. Whether impeachment happens or not, I am convinced that the investigations that will happen when Congress begins to follow that path will be the disinfectant to cleanse the US of this filth.

Usually as a reason for not impeaching. It's done by pundts and sometimes by Dems but the two situatiosn are completely different. The American people were against Clinton's impeachment becaus ethey knew it was bullshit. This is NOT bullshit. I can see arguments against impeachment now but using the Cinton experience is a false equivalency.

the point is also Repukes thought that was more than adequate for impeachment.

And this isn't even worth investigation.

But they know better. The truth is ...this is worth the investigation...All of it...It ain't lying about a blowjob.

...They know that. Republicans know what's coming. Of course, they are trying to defuse it..one way or another...That is who they are. In my opinion, they can't defuse it. It will grow in ways they cannot predict. Why? There is more to be found?...Why? Trump has done some crooked things. With Russia, and in trying to cover up Russia...The FBI I think already knows..(hell I don't know nothing)..but I know this.......
............... This ain't lying about a blowjob..much worse than that..and Pukes know it.

It's a comment on the ethical bankruptcy by Republicans in both cases. Republicans led the charge against Clinton over a trivial affair while covering for Trump regarding a hostile government attack on our election system. Some might call that hypocrisy -- it's not. In both cases it's a willful abuse of their power to execute a diligent check on another branch of government and from that standpoint it is very much equivalent.

It is also a commentary on the ethical bankruptcy of repubs. They are not mutually exclusive. But for pundits or Dems to say we can't impeach tRump because of what happened in the Clinton situation is making a false equivalency for several reasons, including the one I stated.

If Obama had slept with a porn star and paid her hush money just before the election. The Republicans would've already started impeachment hearings.

How sweet would it be if the FBI, Commey back and leading, snatched Dotard Donny, hauled him out of the white house, HORIZONTALLY, while screaming, like his boy Assange was? Sweet, sweet images.

If Obama had done that, the Republicans would have lynched him from the Capitol Rafters, and run for re-election on their 'good deed'.

Mark my words, they KNOW how bad this is, they KNOW what will be exposed by open impeachment testimony, and they KNOW what it will do to them.

The next election be damned. The Democratic Majority in the House has a CONSTITUTIONAL Duty to do this now (like it, or not).

I'll own that Duty even IF our side loses for it.

We need to remember what justice looks like. Clinton broke the law and got slapped (but not removed) for it. He's lucky.

Trump getting away with his crimes is another story and it's not all written yet. There are ~16-20 investigations still. Have hope.

Let's face the bare facts.

Pres. Clinton's impeachment was a coup attempt.

Al Gore's 'defeat' WAS a coup by the Supreme Court.

Republican's attempt to DeLegitimize Pres. Obama and refuse to seat his many nominated judges was an attempted coup, begun on the very night of Mr. Obama's Inauguration.

Hillary's 3 million vote margin could not outweigh the Trump & Russian coup.

So, let's face these Republican shenanigans as to what they really are.
