1. Start the impeachment process for the investigation powers ALONE! This isn't about a blow job

2. The report shows trump to be a liar who obstructed justice.

We need to demand impeachment.

3. Yes, and they should cite Barr's faith in the veracity of the report,

which clearly lays out the reasons for doing so.

5. There's no choice. Mueller did everything but beg them to do it.

If Dems refuse to impeach, they are as guilty of shirking their constitutional duty as Trump.

6. I want to see the House call Mueller for TV questions and answers

But I lean towards yes.

7. I voted no based on a technicality

Iím all for impeachment but I wasnít sure if the OP meant start it immediately, or let the report stew with the public for a little bit longer and hear Mueller testify in public, which would obviously be quite dramatic.

I think timing is of some importance here. Another poster said more or less the same thing better than I am but their point was to let the storm build for a while before dropping the hammer. I donít get the sense this is going to fade into the background any time soon, quite the contrary.

11. All I know is that a former Intelligence/legal analyst said

STRIKE NOW, when there's maximum impact. Waiting delegitimizes everything. We are SO appalled, and this is serious at this moment, not in two weeks. Call everyone back. Now. Why the hell do you to think they announced during recess? Trump is a master at media and timing.

8. The Speaker can count

She's going to have to be in a place where there's a fighting chance of getting enough Senate votes to convict as well

That's what I'm watching. If the House starts an impeachment inquiry it tells me she figures she's got a better than even shot at the Senate falling in line

9. The senate votes will never be there no matter what circumstances

He could have been caught red handed on the phone with Putin and the votes still wouldnít be there. There is literally no scenario whatsoever where the senate gop nut jobs would ever convict him.

I suspect the Speaker knows that as well and it wonít deter her from acting in the house if she thinks public opinion is there.

15. I get the frustration and the desire to have something now

Id like to March the mother fucker out of the WH tonight. But as far as impeachment I just donít think itís something that has to happen in the next 24 hours for it to be meaningful.

On edit what Iím most annoyed with tonight is the timetable for the public Mueller testimony.

10. absolutely...

...bring the charges, layout the evidence and it's significance and meaning to the country then let the republicans defend their actions...

...succeeding or failing in the Senate will still be an automatic win for our country...

...trust me, they'll do it again if we give them the chance...

...

20. YES ..... IMPEACH THE TRAITOR

https://www.youtube.com/watch?time_continue=2&v=sWTiFcl9OhU

You would probably start crying,
And then rehash all the lying,
And rhetoric you've preached...
If you ever got impeached.

23. Yes, he tried to shut down the investigation into Russian election interference

It wasn't just all about him trying to hide his campaign's collusion, but he also was trying to protect the Russian criminals involved in helping his campaign. Big reason that he continually denied Russian involvement was to protect himself and his kids so they could have plausible deniability regarding their criminality working with Russians, which has helped them escape charges of campaign violations.

No impeachment will demoralize many Dems and make Congress look weak if they just seem to shrug their shoulders accepting that he obstructed justice and lied about it all this time without any repercussions or formal rebuke. No impeachment by Congress will give Repubs a huge boost to gloat and claim total vindication.
