We now know Barr back stabbed Mueller.

It is amazing, Barr knew he would get caught lying about the report and he did not care. Where does that type of arrogance come from?

The Democrats must go all out and force Barr to resign. He is dangerous and capable of doing anything.

Why would Barr willfully and knowingly throw his entire reputation away to go to bat for Donald Trump? He knew the outcome would be his reputation gone, but for what? What in the hell does he stand to gain? The could dump trump and "save the GOP" at the same time, it wouldn't be that hard. So you are stuck with two possibilities - "Save the party" or blackmail.

He knew he was telling lies that would be discovered as lies the minute the report was released. Further, he didn't have to write the "op ed job interview letter" and didn't have to accept the nomination for AG. I keep saying, there is "more" here, and it involves Lindsay Graham and most likely blackmail.

To "save the party", all the GOP has to do is say Trump's behavior in obstructing the probe and telling officials to violate the law is not remotely acceptable behavior for a POTUS, and we as a country will move on without him. It would be THAT easy. There has to be something else they are afraid of, because every last one of them knows he has no business in the Oval Office. We hit a point yesterday where they have "an out" with all the lies and obstruction the report details. If they were smart, they'd take it... NOW.

today. Portman broke ranks and sided with Mueller. There will be more.

We are just seeing the beginning of the end of Trump's Crime Syndicate. My guess is,tons of Legal Beagle's were energized yesterday by Barr's total regards of our Constitution and Law and Order.

Because of excepted Holiday Congress Closures,Barr and Trump knew they could work the clock with yesterday's Lie Fest.

Understand the Speaker has a Conference Call with her Leadership and Members sometime Tuesday, even though that day is on the no Congressional Business to be acted on date.

Barr will be removed, and this Summer will be one of accelerated Congressional Hearings with people being charge with Contempt of Congress as well as Lieing to Congress. Expecting as many as a dozen standing at Bar for Sentencing by Christmas.

Is now calling Barr,” BARRF!” I think that is appropriate.

The News Media is having a Field Day because the Mueller Report proved they have been right all along! The fake news was Trump and his Toadies!

because he knew, or at least hoped, that the media would take his talking points as true before anybody had a chance to read the report. He probably assumed correctly that the MAGAts wouldn't read it and would just swallow FOX's spin. And he's really pitching his statements to an audience of one, not wanting to get the Sessions treatment. Just like so many others, Barr eventually leave Trump's administration covered in Trump's shit, which he will never be able to wash off - he'll carry that stank on him for the rest of his life.

more like a "birds of a feather" scenario.

The last time barr tried the "summary" gambit was before the internet and social media. He thought it would work again because he's that arrogant and out of touch.

that he tried to suppress and then inaccurately "summarized" under pressure and this one, was that in that case he was addressing a somewhat arcane legal question regarding whether the FBI had the authority to arrest fugitives in foreign countries. Bush I wanted Noriega gone and Barr was looking at a way to do it. As it happened, US troops eventually invaded Panama and captured Noriega, so the opinion was never needed or used. Another difference is that Barr wasn't trying to protect a rogue president. By the time the actual opinion was subpoenaed and released, it was kind of irrelevant even though it did expose the fact that Barr's summary was not accurate. The whole thing didn't get much news coverage at all. And maybe that really is the reason Barr thought he could get away with it this time.

who went to work for Trump eventually found themselves cast out and covered with shit. I have no idea why anybody would take a job in the Trump administration. But like the others, Barr will stink of Trump for the rest of his life.

I don't think any of us can take the measure of the man named Mueller until we hear his story directly from his lips.

Will he reveal that he was shut down the moment Barr was sworn in? Will he explain that his report was misrepresented by Barr upon its release? Will he defer to the AG or tell it like it is?

THAT will be the telltale moment. If honest, Congress will likely impeach. If not, Congress will likely continue its own investigations, but the effect will be blunted.
