Approve a bill making it illegal for a campaign NOT to report potential foreign interference

The House should propose and approve a bill making it illegal for a campaign NOT to report knowledge of potential foreign interference to the FBI and Federal Election Commission. Make it a felony. Close the obvious loophole that prevented Trump and his campaign from being charged with "collusion". This is needed to prevent repeats and highlight the seriousness of what happened. Would be interesting to see if the Senate went along. Trump would be placed in an embossing position if he vetoed such a bill.

1. Just a note, the House can't pass a law.

Does that go for everyone? The UK, France and Russia, too? Define interference. Contact of any kind?

2. Fixed my sloppy language about passing a law

and yes any foreign power. The crime could carry greater penalties for nations on a list of hostile foreign powers such as Russia or N. Korea. Interference should be any attempt to influence voters even by paid advertising through PACs, attempts to use social networks outside of officially recognized foreign accounts to target American citizens and mandatory reporting of any knowledge of illegal activity such as break-ins or the existence of illicitly obtained information such as through hacking.

4. Ditto...and the pres must live on pres salary,.not private income...and pres either can't

or must get congressional approval to override security clearance vetos...I'm SURE there are a lot more!!! Hirings which violate nepotism law will result in pay stop for pres until rectified...all department heads must swear to work for the departments stated purpose rather than against it...all atty gens must recuse if ethics supervisor feels appropriate. I'm sure there are plenty of existing laws that need dental work.
