and honestly, I'm not sure which of those things makes me feel more uneasy...that the president is giving orders to executive branch officers and being flatly ignored, or that he's being ignored because his orders are fucking illegal on their face even to people like Steve Bannon and Don McGhan.

prosecution. He couldn't even say that pres. appeared guilty because there's a legal set-up missing right now for pres. to respond legally...tweets don't count. Thus, pres can't defend himself...and I think we'd prefer that pres. responses be under oath, like would happen via impeachment or post-pres. indictments.
