Florida school crosswalk misspelled as 'SCOHOL'

Whoever painted this crosswalk should probably go back to “SCOHOL.”

A driver in Doral, Fla. noticed that a crosswalk, which was supposed to be marked with the word “SCHOOL,” was ironically misspelled.

After local ABC affiliate WPLG pointed out the spelling error in a post that went viral on Thursday, the City of Doral revealed on Twitter that the school zone striping was handled by a hired contractor and would be fixed “expeditiously.”

The embarrassing error was corrected by Thursday evening.
