Trump golfs with Rush Limbaugh day after Mueller report release

Trump played golf on Friday with conservative talk radio host Rush Limbaugh, one day after the release of special counsel Robert Mueller’s report on the Russia investigation.

The White House said Trump played a round with "Limbaugh and a couple friends,” without naming them. The foursome teed off at the president’s private golf club in West Palm Beach, Fla.

Limbaugh has been a staunch defender of Trump and has encouraged the president to launch a counter-investigation into the origins of the Russia probe, which the both men have called a “hoax.”

The longtime radio host also appeared on stage with Trump during the president’s final midterm campaign rally in Limbaugh’s hometown of Cape Girardeau, Mo.

Did you get to the part yet where Trump always drives over the fairways, right up to the tee? He takes one or two steps out of the cart, whacks the ball and gets back in the cart. I was having trouble understanding how he was fit enough to play that much golf, even with a cart, but CIC cleared that up.
